A big thank you to the 123 Learning Community for allowing the Preps to take part in the Planks incursion yesterday which was paid for with Friday Night Market money.
The incursion was a HUGE hit with both the students and the teachers coming out feeling like true architects! This wonderful experience fostered our preps creativity, imagination and social development as they worked side by side to construct incredibly detailed and complex structures. The open ended nature of these planks also provided the students with the opportunity to strengthen their problem solving skills by investigating solutions and simple strategies such as "how do I get this plank to balance when it keeps falling over."
We couldn't be more excited to share some of their inspiring creations with you!
